Ugh, no new news lately! Sheesh, i guess this means i should start working on some new graphics!
Keep checking back, fans!
a really cute interview about the show, about the chemistry, and about the Group in general!
WHAT WAS YOUR IDEA BEHIND FORMING GIRLICIOUS?
Robin: I wanted to play on the words girl and delicious for a group of cute-cute, delicious girls.
Natalie: For the record, Robin created the name before Bootylicious, Fergalicious, and crunkalicious. She had it years ago.
Robin: Yeah. I had the idea for this group 13 years ago. After creating the Pussycat Dolls, I just wanted to do it again but start fresh and from scratch — and a little different. The Pussycat Dolls started as a dance group, and Nicole [Scherzinger] was the lead singer — the other girls are amazing, but they’re dancers. Nicole can sing and dance, and she’s gorgeous — so I wanted to create a group with all Nicoles.
Nichole [Cordova]: It’s really amazing that we have no lead singer. We all sing, we all dance, we all look the part, and we all have great personalities — but our strengths still come in different areas. It’s crazy to think that a girl group can have so many strengths.SO THERE WERE ORIGINALLY ONLY SUPPOSED TO BE THREE GIRLS IN THE GROUP — WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO USE FOUR?
Robin: Yeah, it really was supposed to be three in the beginning, but as I became closer with the girls and got to know them more and more toward the end, I just couldn’t imagine it with only three. And it wasn’t like one, two, three, and she’s the fourth. The girls had to come all together. I had to work really hard to get the network to agree with letting me change it. A lot of the people in charge were like, “The audience is expecting three, so you have to give us three.” And I was like, “No, now the group is four!”
Chrystina: Three is good, four is great.
Robin: That was my tagline.ROBIN, HAVE YOU BEEN REALLY INVOLVED IN THE WHOLE PROCESS?
Robin: Yeah, I’ve been so hands-on from day one, and I do everything. This group is like my baby, and they’re now like my family.
Tiffanie: We do so many things together, and Robin is there every step of the way. We have to be up at four in the morning and she’s there. Even if we’re doing little things, no matter what time, how annoying, how boring, she is always there.
Robin: The girls lived in this loft and underneath were all the producers and myself. It was like them up there with all the cameras on and us watching on monitors below the whole time. So I’m sitting, getting my makeup done, getting my hair done, just chillin’ while watching them as if it were already a reality show. They would be talking, arguing, screaming, dancing, singing, on the phone, crying to their boyfriends and mothers, and I’m just sitting there watching. That’s how I got to know them. It’s insane I got to know so much about them through that.SO, ROBIN WATCHED YOU WHILE IT WAS BEING FILMED WITH NO EDITS — WHAT WAS IT LIKE TO WATCH YOURSELF ON TELEVISION AFTER THE WHOLE PROCESS?
Nichole: It was exciting, but it didn’t actually feel like it was me. I mean, as I was watching it, who knows — all of America could’ve been watching.
Natalie: It was the most vulnerable experience ever. When you’re filming you can forget the cameras are on — so it’s really crazy to look back and see all the cursing and the drama. You forget things — a lot of the times on the show I said such crazy things that I would just have to laugh at myself when I saw them later.
Tiffanie: For me, I was like, “Oh, my God, what am I going to say this week?” I was a pretty wild character on set. I was constantly doing crazy things. So I would embarrass my parents while they were sitting right next to me watching the show.
Chrystina: When you have a bunch of 18-year-old girls without their cell phones — there’s nothing to do but create drama. We were buggin’ out. Then the producers take all the worst things you did and some of the good things and put them all together.
Robin: We all love reality shows because we love the drama. But the truth is, some reality shows have writers to help a little with that. But these girls were really in that mode. We were like, “God, we don’t have to do anything to this show, ever!”NOW THAT THE SHOW IS OVER, HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN ABLE TO PUT THE COMPETITION AND DRAMA ASIDE AND GET ALONG?
Natalie: We were still in competition when we all got off the show — so we all sat down at dinner and talked about it.
Tiffanie: We decided that if we fight, we’re going to break up, and none of us wanted that.
Chrystina: It was really hard to drop the competitive thing at first, but we realized we had a lot more similarities than differences. And now the great thing about our group is that we really get along like sisters. A lot of girl groups pretend to have chemistry and that everything is perfect, but we really get along.
Natalie: If you watch us perform, you can see our crazy chemistry.
Tiffanie: I know that’s a boring story to tell, but we really get along.Source: CosmoGirl

Hey guys, Tiffanie has a message for the people who think drugs are cool:
so for all my Girlicious girls and Boylicious boys, i just wanna adddrreessss some things for the record. i’ve been hearing some non-sense that we’re going to be the next celebrity eff ups, as far as drugs are concerned… and i just wanna tell you guys what my opinion of drugs are. THEY ARENT HOT! first off they’re not girlicious enough! they make you smell bad! and they make your bangs sweat out! i’ve never even triedddd a drug a day in my life, and i alllllwwwayyys tell people not to do them! when i go to the club i like to be alert, because i don’t want some non-boylicious guy to take advantage of me, or some non-girlicious girl to steal my purse while i’m too intoxicated to care! also for the record the kinda guys you girls want, don’t like a girl who gets wasted… it’s not HOT!!
